failed cuttings

Lake Toxaway, NC(Zone 7a)

I took a lot of cuttings from the 5 brugs I had and got some in trade. Well, wouldn't you know the ones that I only received one cutting of, didn't make it. KBS, Rosamond, EP and Grand Marnier were ones that turned to mush and I threw them out. I hope someone will have some babies they are willing to trade in the spring. All I have right now is a very nice dark grean lirope (Monkey Grass) with very dark blooms that I would describe as purple. The tips of the leaves don't turn brown as in some of the other varieties....

You're kidding! When would be the best time to mail them?Do you want some of the liriope? I may have to wait a little while to dig it.

LOL, Glad to put a smile on your face.... I have one of each that I can send to you but our temps are still pretty low, hovering around 20 F.... They are potted and growing under lights. I would suggest to wait a little until the weather breaks but let me know what temp you are comfortable with and I'll ship away..... :)
Thank you for your offer, but I don't need anything more right now, lol

doing the happy dance here!! I agree, we should wait a little while. I'm more concerned with the temperatures in transit than at our houses.. I'll holler when the time's right, believe me!
Thank you so much steel_datura (love that take-off on Steel Magnolias).
