Some of you may remember Rocky, the little feral kitten that I was trying to nurse back to health. Remember that I was going to bring him inside to be an indoor only cat when he got big enough to be taken from his mother, but then one day he disappeared. I remember looking all over for him. We made fliers and put them out all over the neighborhood. My husband, assuming he must have died, even took a flashlight and looked under the house, the shed, and our neighbor's house to see if he could find a body. Nothing.
Well, last night, when I was washing dishes, I looked out the window to see a new cat in my group. My heart skipped a beat, and I wonder if there's any way at all that this could be Rocky. I've looked at Rocky's kitten picture over and over, and there is such a strong resemblance. There's also things that may indicate that he's not Rocky. but I went outside to feed the cats just now, and he was out there...and guess what...he let me pet him. HE LET ME PET HIM!! My heart is just running over, but I'm also trying to be causious, because of the differences between this cat and Rocky's kitten pic. Let me start by showing the two pictures. Please, if you don't think it's him, don't be afraid to tell me. I'd rather know...
