What do I do with This?

San Diego, CA(Zone 10a)

Tropical Sunset lost all of her buds to frost but now has a new flush starting. Fiona found this when we were cutting the plant back. How do I know when it is ripe? Musta been bees cause I didn't use the turkey baster on her. Lol.

Thanks everyone. I will watch and wait. It is in the front yard so I hope some kid walking by does not decide to pick it. It was not visible until I cut back the mexican sage.
