I have taught school in a rural school district for 20 years. I live in the city and it is a 25 minute drive. My 17 year old son has gone to school with me since he was in Kindergarten so he is a city boy that has grown up in a country school. This morning he was driving us to school (50 miles an hour) when 2 big dogs started chasing his truck. Well, he hit and killed one of them. There was nothing he could have done. He is so depressed right now because he loves our Angel so much and feels guilty because someone is sad because their dog is gone.
