CLOSED: Seed ID needed from a Texan

Winnipeg, MB(Zone 2b)

Received some 'Velvet Flower' from Texas today. Tiny seed like snapdragon.
instructions are - Sow on top of mix. Light needed for germination. 14/21 days for germination.

Can't remember who sent it to me, not on DG anyway.

Maybe the botanical name, then I could research it.

are the seeds tiny shiney black seeds? Some people call cockscomb ( velvet flower)..

Salpiglossis. Yes it is. Compared it to my own seed, collected from my garden. DUH...... It is the same. Maybe diff. colours to mine.
