It was a nice day...sun actually shone on us, temps made it to the 60's, DW made shrimp gumbo for the birthday boy! Yummy!

And now, on to the first day of being this old. Looks like yet another fine day to me!!

Shoe, do you use okra in your gumbo and Marine Shrimp and, or other seafood?? When she finishes it up, would you send me a bowl??

Oh yes! Gotta have okra in it! Yummy!

And this was a shrimp gumbo with only shrimp in it as the main seafood. Sometimes we'll make it with lots of goodies in it...shrimp, scallops, crabmeat, etc. Some folks will put kielbasa/sausage in it but we prefer it w/only the seafood. So Good!!

Happy birthday, Shoe! I hope it was a great one. By the sound of that shrimp gumbo, it sure was. Mmmm, my mouth is watering just thinking about it.
