Adding Pictures to Microsoft Access Database

Could someone please help me add pictures to my database? Last year I started a Plants database in Access (Office XP). I added an image "box", but when I can get an image in it, it puts the same image in every record. I have not tried recently because it was so frustrating. I thought I was following directions step by step, but I couldn't get it to work.
Any help is greatly appreciated!
