Hello from Nashville, TN

Nashville, TN(Zone 6b)

Hello all! I'm a new subscriber here, and have had a wonderful past couple of hours browsing the forums. I'm a long-time fan of the Garden Watchdog (I always refer to it before purchasing my seeds and plants), and finally decided to take the plunge to the forums. I'm a bit shy though, so go easy on me! LOL

I'm a relative newbie to gardening - this year will be my 6th veggie garden (not counting all the years of my childhood that I toiled away in the family garden - back then it was a CHORE, not fun like it is now!) My passion is tomatoes, and every year I seem to run out of room before I run out of varieties. Although I spend the majority of my gardening time with veggies and herbs, I'm slowly but surely working on beautifying my yard (we moved into this house 2 years ago). I have several hosta (will be adding more) and last fall planted a couple hundred different bulbs - can't wait until bloom time!
Anyway, I just wanted to give a short HELLO to everyone. I'm working up my courage to start posting around the forums. Everyone seems so knowledgeable though, I'm afraid I won't have much to add at this point!

Waving from just up I-24 in West KY! I'm about an hour and 40 minutes from the N'ville airport.

There's lots of DG'rs in the area and we always like to welcome a new neighbor.
I'm a tomato gal too...got seeds for about 300 varieties, but only plant about 30 or so each season to keep my seeds rotated.

Welcome to the Garden!

I'm from Southcentral Iowa and sending welcomes from here. Gosh, we had a gorgeous day today. Lots of snow melted and the ice on the driveway isn't so bad now. Hope you are finding everything you are looking for. Don't hesitate to ask if you need help. We were all new at one time or another. Don't be bashful. Jump right in and enjoy yourself. Talk to you soon.

Thanks for the warm welcome y'all!
Melody - yep, I did work outside in just a t-shirt today! I spent a lovely afternoon with my kids "helping" me plot out our veggie garden! Lovely warm weather! :)
