New Seedling

Gulfport, MS(Zone 8a)

This one, i do believe is Hummernuts. The only part of the tag that i can barely read one part of the tag and i think its says "patio brug"??. I received this from him at the Florida Swap.
The color started developing last night while it was stilled rolled tight. I'll post more pics as it opens and hopefully turns darker.

Very pretty Jen -- and congrats on the good news you recently received -- you've been in my prayers, and I'm so happy for your wonderful results :)

I like the center picture. Cool.

Thanks Gretchen!!

I hope its going to be fully opened in the morning. It should be a sight to see on a morning when the temps are expected to be 22, lol

Jen, it was from me and it has no name, I called them patio brugs because I did not expect them to grow over 5 ft tall. The mother brug is Eventide and the father is unknown. If it turns out to be something special for you, you are free to name it. Larry

I have to ask......I've seen you tell others that they could name this brug also. Don't you think it would be best for one person to give it a name so it isn't floating all over the country with several different names? Actually, the best person to do that, would be you or you could appoint one person to do it, but all who have cuttings should be told of its new name. JMO.

I think they were seedlings that he gave out. I'll re-mark it as Eventide x ?, right?
Larry, its blooming at or less than 3 ft.
Heres todays, not fully opened

Sorry Jen. I guess I just assumed it was from cuttings.

Montgomery, AL(Zone 8a)

These were all seedlings, so each plant should be different, except for the hieght. I would not give cutting to be named.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Thanks for making that clear to me Larry. I am sorry I misunderstood.

Gosh, if I had just looked at the title of the thread....it said it right there. Duh!

Jen -- it is truly a cutie! I love the shape and the color. Very nice! Wonder what her Summer color will be?

Gulfport, MS(Zone 8a)

Gretchen,
I'm wondering too. I'll keep it around until the end of the summer to see what its going to do.
Lord knows we have enough frosty pink look alikes, although the color is much deeper than frosty.
We'll see what it does.

Ellicott City, MD(Zone 7a)

Very nice!
