Snowed in today, I have been editing photos between other needed inside work.
Though I seldom post anymore, I decided to share this one today.
I decided this one for the home page of a new group we started to go with the brugmansias at our site.
No activity yet as just started. But, it is created to help in the growing of brugmansia.
All friends here are welcome to join it they wish.
I will definitely appreciate help from brug friends as this group grows.
Especially in the help to answer questions.

The glasshouse is covered in ice and snow. Though cold outside, inside is wonderful.
Snow falling outside and wonderful ice 'patterns' on the glass.
This picture was taken yesterday in the glow of the setting winter sun.
Subject ..one of my most favourite brugs ever.

Ahhhhhhh , real FB weather ;~D
Alice, your picture is extraordinary (in the great way). Thanks for sharing.
Beautiful pic Alice. Is the glass special. I was wondering how the freezing snow didn't make it break
Donna,
The glass used in this entrance is from Youghiogheny Glass near where I live. http://www.youghioghenyglass.com/gallery.html
Most we used in this entry is one of their specialty glasses ..Oceana.
Some is stipple, also. The deep blue is water glass.
We started with all Oceana, but could not get the sizes ..so went to some of the others to achieve that. The door is special order from Pella.
Had to get that flower ((o:
We did this in fall and has made this side entry really pretty.
If ever to sw Pennsylvania, the glass retail and factory is a great visit (o:
Absolutely beautiful. It looks as if it is part of a chuch and we should all pray! It induces much peace. Thank you for sharing.
Nancy Lee
A special treat to see your picture, and many thanks for sharing the web site. Their work is beautiful, and your room embodies it.
GO STEELERS!!!!!
Abutilon, beautiful photo and brug. The door is wonderful, I have a purple painted front door that has an etched daylily design . Would be great to have a brug door maybe in the center of the glass. Donna
Alice, your photo is beautiful! I too love the glass door and stained glass. Your taking the photo at sunset shows soft shadows on the brug, which makes it look really beautiful! Good job!
Pella is right down the road from me about 35 miles. They make some great windows and doors and that door is a beauty.
Beautiful photo, should grace a magazine's pages at the least. You have a good eye and that's a beautiful bloom too.
Alice that is great!
These brugs are as photogenic as cleomes. With any luck I'll be able to take a couple of my own this year.
Thanks for sharing
Alice, it looks to me like one of the most beautiful photos anyone has ever taken. And congratulations, on being forum photo of the day! Thanks for posting this wonderful picture.
Shannon
Shirley,
I just realized the beveled glass flower on the door is hidden behind RK ..lol
And did not realize my door came from where you are. I had to wait a few weeks for it to come in.
Thank you, Dave, for photo of the day (o:
Thanks Everyone else for all the kind things said.
Ruth Olive, you could pray here if you wanted ..lol
It is very relaxing inside. A good place to work and meditate.
Good for the soul (o:

It will be crazy here tonight if the win.
I need to get back to you on the eggs. Sorry for so long.
Snowed in, this is the first I have been able to be at the computer any length of time in months.
One good thing to come out of snowed in I am catching up on all my behinds.
Gorgeous bloom highlighted by your lovely stained glass!
Your photo really needs to be made into a stained glass window (for you???)
Alice......you have to take another picture and show us the flower in your glass door since it is hidden in this picture. Is it a canna, abutilon, brug or something else?
Absolutey beautiful, Alice! Thank you for sharing. I saw earlier on the news that your part of the Country is really getting socked in. I hope you are all safe and snug :)
Gretchen
I could never get my tree datura to bloom inside the house. How did you get it to bloom inside? I moved mine outside on the patio. It thanked me for that.
Beautiful picture! I love your glass house and the stories that go with it!
Joanie, without having to go back and read everything, are you talking about a datura or a brugmansia?
Beautiful picture, Alice. Wonderful combination..... :)
Hi what a beautiful brug. i really feel snow bound over the weekend we had on saturday 12 inches., more tonight. I can,t wait till spring.
