Jacaranda Tree

Ocean Springs, MS(Zone 8b)

I want a Jacaranda tree so bad but they are expensive to buy, does anyone have a cutting for trade?

Niceville, FL(Zone 8b)

Actually, I have some seedlings that are about a foot tall.

Jaranda went out in the mail today via priority mail. With a small bonus enclosed which I hope you dont already have.

OMG, I would love to have a cutting of the Jacaranda Tree. Does it have purple flowers on it? My home was in Fla. till we moved here in S. Ga. There is a st. there named after the tree & it has a Jacaranda in front of each house.
Thanks Sherry.

rylaff,
Would this tree grow in a zone 5......... ?

Niceville, FL(Zone 8b)

Send me a bubble envelope. Inside put your address label, along with 49 cents worth of stamps. Include a note requesting the jacaranda seeds. I will return the same envelope with your address label and stamps on it. Inside will be your seeds. No, jacaranda wont grow in zone 5. It is tropical. I am growing it in a microclimate. It is normally hardy to zone 9. I love to push the zones.

Hi! Does anyone have any spare seeds? They look beautiful!!! A seedling would be ideal but in light of the -0 temps lately the poor little thing'd never make it. :( Seed's the next best thing...only need a few. Thanks in adavnce!

I have some seeds. They are very easy to start. Mine are a few months old and are about a foot to a foot and a half tall. Or you could wait until spring and I should still have some left.

Orangeville, PA(Zone 6a)

Seeds would be okay, esp if they grow that fast! I'd be happy to send you SASE. ;)

Niceville, FL(Zone 8b)

Send me a SASBE with a note of what you want and I will send you some. My address is in the address exchange.
