I cannot believe no one has any suggestions for what to do about this plant.

Old age? If it were me I'd take starts and go for a rejuvenation. Once they get woody like that they don't do as well for me anyway. As for the yellow...too much, too little water......old soil....who knows....I just go the lazy way and make new plants when this happens. Out of the old..... :~D

Did it get too cold, and perhaps it's trying to give you a message, are the tootsies too cold. It may need something to eat, after they flower they do. I just wonder mine is outside and is doing very well so far this winter.

However I have never grown these well, I think I keep it too wet during the winter months and don't give it a chance to rest , it is plumb tuckered out. I do know you must give it a dry spell, and new soil once in a while, Nomma

Both suggestions from Kachinagirl and Crasulady2 (repotting and new starts) sound good to me. Thanks!

Darius,
My first thought is that it has been overwatered and chilled. I have found them to be very 'temperamental' plants. Oftimes they are potted in a peat mixture that becomes hard as a brick when it dries out. I keep mine cool in winter, often in 40's, and water them very little. When I do water them, I let the pot soak up water from the bottom.

I keep them outside in the summer under a dogwood tree and bring them in when frost threatens.

If it is a really old plant, it may just need repotting in some fresh dirt.

Hope this helps some.

Be sure to let it dry out. My cousin has a plant that is as old as I am. It was his fathers. Very cool looking plant. Maybe a little cactus fertilizer come spring when you can take it out and let it drain through. Perhaps blooming was hard on the old girl this year. lol.

Darius, mine are outside all year long, and it gets down into the 40's at night, and mine do just fine. It looks like low light damage to me. The good news is that it is not fatal.
