I'm sorry I don't have them to send you, but I thought I'd let you know that I found these seeds last year at Pinetree, in case you don't get lucky here. I just checked, and they're carrying them again this year; look in "vegetables" under "R-S."

I wish I were planning an order with them this year, and then I could send you some..... I hate paying that shipping & handling charge when there's just one thing I want.

Anybody else?

Well, I started flipping through the Pinetrees catalog last night, and now I *am* going to place an order! LOL

Since you were so generous in adding things from your SASE offer to my trade, I'll send some 'Yellow Wonder' alpine strawberry seeds on to you when my order arrives.....

Thanks,Jill!

Chelsea, these are lovely little alpines. Like the red variety, they bunch rather than throw runners, so you can plant them in with your flowers with worrying that they will strangle everything out. I can't say that I would grow them for the fruit, thought they are surely conversation pieces!

moretz,

You just very generously offered me a bunch of seeds for SASBE (butternut squash et al.), so maybe we can do a trade instead? I'll go ahead and order this week from Pinetree, and I will send you a pack of yellow alpine strawberry seed when my order arrives.

Thanks!
