I know how you feel, I got the infamous Lee Valley catalog that you all were hyped about today I spent a couple good hours going through it. Got all my Birthday, Christmas and Personal shopping done. Suffice to say, I have to start working a few more hours a week to pay for this stuff. I was impressed though. Great quality stuff and such a variety.

Wish Botanus saved your basket contents when you leave. I can't decide in one sitting, what I have to have and what I can afford. Then there's the issue of forgetting I've already ordered it. Definitely the one I look forward to, and the prices are usually pretty good.

I ordered some white cactus dahlias from Botanus. They had been on my wish list too. I like their prices, and I like the ease of ordering on their website.

I got my vegetable seed order from Nichols Garden Nursery (Oregon) today. Got everything, except my corn. Unfortunately they said "We cannot ship corn seed into Canada ". Drat!! That's all I'm missing now. Funny that they could ship seeds like peas and carrots, but not corn. Oh well, have to keep my eyes open for some good quality corn seeds here.

That's odd, I wonder if it is new this year. I got my corn seed from Johnny's last year without problem.

Some of them use a chemical on their seeds and it isn't approved by our customs.

Donna, just wait until we hit Brentwood Bay Nursery....rose-heaven....you will think of nothing else!

I think the corn question is in case it is a GMO corn. Could be wrong but think tht is the reason. Why not ask them.

Sounds heavenly, Elaine.

Quoting:
The Rose is gowned in petaled grace and lovely beyond telling;
She always lifts a friendly face, regardless of her dwelling.
Her golden silence can express to us, no matter where, joy shared;
Give solace in distress from those who fondly care.
The Rose has ways of saying things we much delight to hear;
without a spoken word, she brings and keeps our loved ones near.

Beautiful quote Donna, thank you. I wish I wish....maybe I'll try a rugosa again this year.
