The last of the Rosamond pods! She was a good momma.
One big pod!
YEAH! And speaking of your Mommy! She has a new BABY! I am So darned excited I can hardly stand it! I planted 4 of her seeds and one of them sprouted in about 10 days. I'm still doing the germination song and dance around the rest...
Thanks again for this exciting opportunity! You were very kind to share with someone so untried and true!
That sure is a big seed pod!!
Sequee . . you are doing great with seeds and cuttings. You will be amazed how much they will grow this summer.
I've never seen a seedling like that - so totally barren, but then I'd never seen a stick as a cutting before either, so what do I know? Thanks for the encouragement! I really need it at this time of year!
Nice pod Kristi. Good to see some this time of year. Happy growing, Sequee!
Congrats, Kristi. Hope you get some beauties from them.
OH my Goodness Kristi!!! Look at the size on that one, WOW! I'm with Sequee on this one too, never seen nothing like this one. Great luck you're having and sending some your way this summer.
I'm growing the Rosamond x ? Seed pod #1 and #2 for you. They are doing great, got germination within 8 days. I can tell pod #2 is the stronger one's of the two pods. Whatever it is lol....they have their 2nd set of leaves now and already planted from the rockwool into MG and housed in a handmade GH in the back with the sun for heat. Will this pod be Rosamond x ? Seed pod #3?
Let me know if you need some help with these lol...I'll be glad to
Julie
Wow, Kristi! That's huge! I had no idea the pods got that big.
Me, either, but then I had no idea blossoms got so big until I saw my first Brug!
Wait till you get to see a versi. pod. They aren't as fat, but they are really long.
Nice pod Kristi.
Very cool, Kristi! Good luck with the babies! I hope you get something spectacular!
Kristi - I have a question for you. I am still trying to root the cuttings you so generously sent me. All have at least one root on them, but they so seem to be at a stand still. Would bottom heat be helpful to them? I've had them on my mantle, which is stone, and I'm wondering if perhaps it retains the cold and is holding them back. I have baseboard heating and could set the dixie cups with the cuttings right on top of them. Do you think that would be helpful or harmful? (The Pink Beauties are doing great - they went to pot a month or so ago and are looking strong and healthy!)
PS - My first Rosamond seed germinated a week or so ago (just shy of 2 weeks!) and looks fabulous! I am so proud of him. Hoping his shy brothers and sister will be joining him above ground soon!
