Thank you. I had never seen the plant bloom before. I would have figured that it would need a more tropical climate for that, and I certainly would never have expected it to bloom in January. As you can see, it has grown up into a tree.

The tree is a mimosa tree, so it's not huge, but the vine has gotten above my head. I stood on a bench to take the picture. I think the key to getting a decent picture in this case was having sky as the background instead of foliage. Also, I cropped away a lot of the original picture, and that makes it look like I was closer than I really was.
