Here is the new thread. I'm losing, slowly but surely. I've set a private goal that is attainable but slow. Those are the ones that seem to work best for me. Nothing big, just keep plugging along.

Sandra, it sounds as tho you have come up with a very good and workable method of controling your eating while traveling. Have you considered the individual pkgs. of condiments that restraunts use? They would be a bit more pricey but have no waste. Just a small insulated purse type carrier like they use for insulin supplies would carry at least a meal at a time and a 6 can insulated cooler will carry a couple days or more of supplies of food.
