Fantastic specimen, I didn't know they reached this sort of size, it ought to be described as a barrel cactus if it reaches these proportions.

Yes, it's a big one. No idea on how old it is. It's at the Desrt Botanical Gardens in Phoenix.

If I still had a map of the Gardens, I could scan it and pinpoint where it's located, but I don't.
It's growing on the south side of the pathway, across from the 2nd bed of small cacti you'll encounter on your way to the succulent house and library.
