Hey you guys...my sister Pat has joined us. Another one from Saskatchewan. I think they're going to start outnumbering us here.
Sandy
Welcome eaglesview
Hi Jeanne....is it snowing up at your house?
Yes, I agree, it's sticking like crazy. It's a good thing you rented 5 movies. I guess I'll be watching Star Wars again.
Yippeeeeeeeee....another Saskatchewanian!! A big welcoming wave coming your way from Moose Jaw!
Pam
Hey you BC'ers almost sound like the rest of Canada......staying home and watching movies because of your cold weather.
Eaglesview first posted and was welcomed in the Chrisitmas Pet Contest Forum.
Oh...thanks Donna, I missed that somehow.
Well I missed that too. Welcome Pat. Saying Hi from Manitoba,
Brenda

Thanks everyone. I'm looking forward to participating in your chats and also to learning lots! It's a cold one tonight, 35 below! Brrr...
where is frenchman butte - what an intriguing name? and welcome from the other have province to your west.
Hi Pat! Glad to see you, if you need any iris roots or peony roots I can send ya some up in the spring. Joelle
Welcome, Pat in Frenchman's Butte! Good to see ya. I'm from Saskatoon originally. I'm sure Sandy's already told you about our 1st-ever Canadian Round-Up in Victoria, 1-5 April - if you can make it, it'd be great to see you there! Here's the link to the latest version of our planning thread:

Hey, did they ever get the twinning of the Yellowhead finished, between Lloyd & the Battlefords?
Anyway, we're looking forward to some pictures whenever you have some to share. Welcome aboard!
Shannon
Frenchman Butte is about 35 miles North of Lloydminster. We live in Harlan, a farming district that goes from the Alberta border East to Fort Pitt, about 6 miles from here. We live 2 miles in from the border.
Thanks for the offer of iris and peony roots Joelle, I'll take you up on the offer later!
The Yellowhead is only twinned to Lashburn, however, they are working on it, they have two bridges built over the river at the Battlefords now. Thanks for the invite to Victoria. I teach school, and my holidays are from March 25th to April 3rd. I might try to fit in a trip out then, as I may not be able to fit a summer visit in this year, we have plans to go on a wagon trek as part of Saskatchewan's 100 year celebrations.
Pat
Donna - You put such gorgeous pics on your messages, sure to brighten one's day! I'm really enjoying myself since Sandy got me started, almost addictive! I'm currently trying to place everyone.
I don't use many of my online hours that I pay for, but looks like that's about to change. Only thing is, my phone line is tied up when I'm online (another of the great advantages to living out in the sticks).
Here's another eye-watering picture taken at -25 today!
Actually, Pat. That is eye candy for me. Reminds me of such happy times years ago raising horses and living in the the Alberta countryside. I used to feed and water early in he morning and then muck the stalls later in the day. This photo brings back those happier times. Thanks for sharing.
Pat, I just love that photo too....thanks for posting it.
The wagon trek sounds neat! I think there was one for Sask's 75th birthday as well...my dad participated in it. Who's organizing this one?
