He is ours!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Decatur, IN(Zone 5a)

Wow! that was close! I got a call this afternoon from a lady who said she lived near by & lost her cat. I didn't give any description on ad in our local paper other than I found a male cat. Without hesitation, the lady described 'Icehouse' in great detail. She asked if she could come see him to make sure. I asked if she had any photos of him but she said she never took any photos of him. I gave her our address & she came quickly. I had enough time to have the kids say good bye to him & then DH sent them upstairs so they wouldn't make a big scene. Well the lady shows up & said that was her 'Max'. She went on telling me that she took care of him ever since he showed up at her door by feeding him but had not seen him for a month. She then says, ''I sure wish I could've have found him a good home". I almost jumped up & down yelling, "we'll keep 'em, we'll keep 'em". Instead I kept my composure & told her we had planned on keeping him if no one claimed him so she quickly said we could have him. That she was worried about him and now that she knew he'd have a good home that she was very happy for him. So now he is officially ours. Now
