Angel went to the vet for a weight check. She has gained 1lb. in 2 weeks. She now weights 19.6 lbs. Granted, she had just eaten. The vet said that would only account for maybe1/4 of a lb. He was happy with her weight gain. The vet wants to keep her on the prednisone for another 2 weeks. I told him that this type of medication really makes me nervous. He assured me that what we are giving her is a very low dose. Also, he told me that it wasn't that she didn't weigh enough, it's just that she kept losing. He wanted to make sure that there wasn't another reason (besides the whipworms) she kept losing. She does go back in another 2 weeks, but we are feeling good!!!!
