I had no idea cotton would have flowers that were so pretty. What variety is yours?

I got some seeds for the white flowers but was looking for the colored ones. Do you have extra seeds to trade, mgarr?

I'll check and see. But I usually throw all my seeds in one envelope. I'd be happy to send you a few but have no idea what color they will turn out to be. There was no cultivar name when I bought the seeds two years aga in cotton country down in Georgia.

Thanks, mgarr! Let me know what I can trade you for them.

I rub the seeds against my garlic grater. Soak them in hot water for 12 hours and then plant them. They need bottom heat and rich soil. Good luck!

Thanks for the info!

The cotton fields around here have different colored flowers also. I don't have any seed now, but in the harvest time there is cotton on the sides of the road and it is full of seed. The harvesters drop it off the trucks as they are leaving or it just blows there from the half harvested fields. It reminds me of snow up north after the cars made it into slush on the sides of the road.

Next time you see this....stop and pick some up.
