Yes, she is. I have to take a closer look next year to see how these are different from some of my other aquilegia. I grow so many different kinds and I try to take pictures of them all, but I've only had two of this variety in bloom, and both were pale colors.

I grow heaps as well,, but after 2 shifts , and more growing, along the way from seed , There are only a few that I can name. We should do a Aqui show somewhere here . where anyone can show there unnamed one's.

Yes, bootandall, when it comes to aquilegia, even the byblow are wonderful, and sometimes, more so! Hey, I've been looking over the PF aquilegia section and could use a person to help fill in some blanks there. I've created a word doc with links to the incomplete pages or pages without photos. Might you be interested in working on that, since you grow some many lovely aquilegia? We might even get leads on some new varieties.

I could try to give you a hand, I don't know if I would know enough,
It is summer too. might be better for me in winter.
and I don't know if Word and works are compatible

No problem, I forget our seasons are reversed! Terry has been asking us to work on the database while it is our 'off season', and that is certainly not the case with you! If I have a question about an aquilegia you grow, I'll just email you, and you can reply if you have time.
