The parents!

Though this could be a self pollinated pod also. I may have a much better idea when they start to grow and I see the leaves. And yes, I have just now decided to grow these ones out. Arborea is my favorite white and my favorite smelling brug of all time. It also blooms here all winter. It loves the cool weather.

I almost didn't pick this pod because it was so small and so green. It was pollinated on 3/17/04 so I thought oh well I will...........

And what a shock, it already had a baby inside just desperate to get out! These seeds are so much bigger than the other seeds from this plant and the yellow sang from today's other pods. I am so curious to see what they grow out to be!

Congratulations on the pod, it is always so much more rewarding when you are dealing with your favorite!

You've got the touch! I finally got to smell my first brug last year from a brug friend in Toronto and finally when mine finally bloomed just before the frost.

I will say I get a kick out of watching seeds grow into plants. I just planted up another 30 seedlings from rockwool to 6 packs. My DH built me another seedling rack out of PVC the other day. It is almost all full. Spring can't get here fast enough!

Here is another seed in that picture that has a crack across it. See the green under the hairline crack? These seeds are so ready.

OH WOW kell, that is amazing, now you make me even more crazy to get a pod as well as a bloom :) you sure must have a very loving husband to keep up with your growing madness *LOL*

Great pictures. So is the cross between these called "flava"?

Kell, your pictures are fantastic. I have never seen a seed sprouting inside a pod. Can't wait to see what this pod of seeds develop into.......some real beauties I hope!

Those are just lovely, I like them both. I think it's too hot here for Arborea. I only have 1 and it has done much better in the gh than it did in the yard last summer. It has grown to the ceiling and is pushing on it. Never has bloomed. What should I do? I considered cutting off about 6 ft and doing a tall rooting. I've already dug a 1 ft hole in the gh floor to put the pot in. It's in a 3 gal pot.

The 1 sang that I had melted in last summer's heat.
