Butterfly ID

Linthicum Heights, MD(Zone 7a)

Last summer, I had very few butterflies outside of the Eastern Tiger Swallowtail. I would appreciate assistance in properly identifying the first two and assuring me that the others are correctly identified.

Thanks.

Eastern Tiger Swallowtail . . .

Brookside Gardens in Wheaton, MD has a nice Live Butterfly Display (alot from Costa Rica) during the summer months which allows one to get close-up photos of seldom seen and colorful butterflies.

Thanks, Donna. I previously had never heard of the Red-spotted Purple Swallowtail. You have a nice collection of photos.
