he's not happy

Victoria, BC(Zone 8b)

We have snow, which is unusal for us. He is sitting in the lilac tree, and everytime the branch moves, (it's also very windy) he would flash pink. I don't know what kind he is, but do know we have Anna's all year round.

He sure looks like an Anna's to me. A very cold one. They have red both above and below the beak. I didn't know they would stay where it snowed. Mine are currently in the patio grumbling and cursing the rain. I should show them this pic and tell them to count their little feathered blessings.

Linda if you can set up a box out of the wind in the open and open only one side and hang a feeder and small light for it for warmth. I saw someone had done this one time somewhere on the net and he had lots of them.

Thanks, I 'll see what I can come up with. This is supposed to go on for another few days.

Poor thing, I hope you can give him some shelter. Beautiful bird.
