We have snow, which is unusal for us. He is sitting in the lilac tree, and everytime the branch moves, (it's also very windy) he would flash pink. I don't know what kind he is, but do know we have Anna's all year round.

he's not happy
He sure looks like an Anna's to me. A very cold one. They have red both above and below the beak. I didn't know they would stay where it snowed. Mine are currently in the patio grumbling and cursing the rain. I should show them this pic and tell them to count their little feathered blessings.
Linda if you can set up a box out of the wind in the open and open only one side and hang a feeder and small light for it for warmth. I saw someone had done this one time somewhere on the net and he had lots of them.

Poor thing, I hope you can give him some shelter. Beautiful bird.
