Ohhh My Goodness! I have read that they can be invasive. I have never seen one let alone experience the invasion. I received seeds from England. Now I have seedlings. I'm excited for them to become bushes :-D

I've had a light yellow in 2 gardens and they have never invaded. They are a must have for me!

It must be a climate thing-Italy is covered.

I remember cutting and ripping it out by the roots in New Zealand where it is a terrible noxious weed. It spreads like mad and is a serious agricultural pest. It looks pleasant enough on a hillside, but so does poison ivy when the leaves turn in the fall. I guess plants like humans may have both a good and bad side.
