Beautiful plants! The pic of the Alocasia amazonica is especially beautiful. What kind of conditions do you grow it in? The leaves are so shiny and healthy.

well I brought them in for the winter and I just put them under some uv lights for reptiles. as for the shine I use neem oil from time to time just to make shure no mites are present. That is where the shine comes from. Thanks for the complement and ill put some more up soon. Im still learning how to use the camera so the pics should get better and better.

Good ole Neem oil. Should probably Neem mine again to be on the safe side.

2pugs,

Yes, that's the stuff! Getting it in concentrated form is much more economic than buying it "pre-mixed". Whenever I Neem my plants, I always do it in the bathtub and let them dry there over night as it stinks. Although after the leaves have dried, I don't notice any odor.

Neem is great. I use it for spider mites and also for fungus such as powdery mildew. It's also safe for sensitive plants such as Alocasias.

hello everyone yes that is the stuff. I buy mine at lowes and yes it does stink but as you can tell my plants seem to really like it. i dont know if i recomend it for regular use but i hit mine with it about every 2 to 3 weeks and have had no problems.

thanks
