Also...slip me a note if you can't get the cilantro to germinate..I've developed a little trick to get them all to germ! LOL LOL LOL

Oh, Kim SHARE! I have a devl of a time getting these babies to germinate!

San Augustine, TX(Zone 8b)

Yeah Kim, share! HoniBee graciously offered me some seeds, so I'll take her up on it! We really want to know your "little trick"!!!

Cynthia,
I will send you some FRESH jalapeno seeds today...They are not completely dried, but shouldn't be a problem....Look at them when you get them and if they are still sticky, just air dry them and they should be ready for spring planting or seed sowing...!!

I'll take some of your Moss Rose...I love that stuff!!

Great Rose! Thanks so much! It will be a couple of days before I can get the seeds out...I'm at work out of town. My DH will be so happy with fresh jalapenos!! :)

I'll close this thread in a day or two if noone wants any of the above mentioned seeds. Just let me know & I'll send them. Everyone has been so generous & I feel bad when I'm unable to reciprocate! :D Have a wonderful day!

daisy...What do you have left, and what are you still needing?

(Zone 7a)

Ohhhh forgot to tell you my trick. It can be a pain..But it works and germinates every seed. Use Bounty paper towels. Moisten the towel, place seeds inside, keep moist and warm. Place in a ziplock bag. Every seed will germinate as long as it's kept warm. They seem to need high warmth for germination. Then take each seedling and plant. Hope this helps!

Sounds good Kim!

Sequee - I think I have all I need, thanks for asking. I still have plenty of MGs, cypress vine & moss rose. Pretty common, I know...but that's all I have for now!

This morning I cleaned out the beds I started last spring. I can't wait to start planting! I have some great seeds to try out, especially from my "secret santa" & hemlady. This weather in Tx is driving me nuts! 73 today & should be down to the high 20s by Friday! My daffies are coming up already, & I've even seen some with blooms. Crazy!!

Tell me about it! I just got finished digging out from 6 inches of snow and we are expecting a high og 60 tomorrow! Go figure!
