I have a question about shallots. Are they like a perennial or do you have to plant them every year? I've always heard of them but never grown them. What does everyone put them in??

Shallots look like onions and they are used in place of onions. They are of the onion family. I think shallots are not as strong as onions.

Thanks, Kathy. So you plant them every year? I guess I'll have to find some seeds to.

I've never planted or used a shallot in my life. :) I too, once said "whats a shallot?" and that was the answer I got.
