round hoops, where to get them

I keep seeing these neat round hoops that the hoyas are wrapped around, where do you guys get these at. I need a couple of them.

and your pots some of them are really small, are hoyas best kept in small pots?

I like them too....I use something different tho. I have found a nursery here who carries actual mini trellis' (just like the ones you use for roses or vines outside!) They are so cute in my Hoya pots! I am going to try an experiment this winter too....around here now is the time they pollard (or more correctly 'stool') all the Fruitless Mulberries so I am going to pick up some long whips and with some wire make my own hoya trellis' (and also some for my veggie garden!). This in all my spare time of course! LOL

I use either mini-trellises or the handle of the nice basket the pot sits in. I also found a "U" shaped wooden frame that sits upsidedown in the pot-this works nicely too. The hoops are a nice touch though; I'm going to check my local nursery for them, as I will be addng to my hoya collection this spring, and am out of baskets ... lol.

I'm wanting to add to my hoya collection too, but mine aren't doing well in the greenhouse right now, it's damp and humid out there, their not drying out fast enough, lots of things starting to rot. we've had 2 weeks of solid rain and haven't been heating, no need to heat now, and things are rotting. I built a fire in the wood stove out there just to help dry things out LOL

Kathy_Ann - Yes, hoyas like their roots snug...and grow very well in small pots...smaller than you would imagine. When the roots start to show out the top and thru the bottom holes...pot us just one size.

LOL - I just looked at the link, and the "U shaped wooden frame that sits upsidedown in the pot" that I have, is actually a bamboo hoop. Love them!!
