Hello,
I joined back in sept. 04, this is a great forum and I have learned alot just through lurking and reading. Lots of extremely nice helpful people here!
I am city born and raised, I would be a real joke on the farm or in the country and I'm terribly allergic to hay. I was never interested in gardening or plants before last summer when I got a bonsai tree and became interested in bonsai. One thing led to another now I can't get enough all things bonsai, botany, gardening, propagating related.
I can't believe I've lived so long (late 30s) without noticing the beautiful things in God's creation, but better late than never. Now I want to learn more!
Please bear with me as my questions will often seem extremely ridiculous. Nevertheless, I appreciate the great knowledge you all share.
Maureen
Belated Hello
Hi Maureen - glad to have you here. Believe me - no questions are too stupid....Heck, I remember one of my early posts talking about these cute little white morning glory type flowers - oops, that's the dreaded bindweed. People here are great and will always give knowledge, seeds and plants generously. There are lots of forums, different topics - so, it's definitely a place to enjoy for a few years. :)
Thanks!
I hope my questions don't stay silly too long, but if they do at least I hope somebody gets a good laugh!
Hi mlm01 and welcome to Daves Garden. I love your name. My great aunt had the same name. Hope you are familiar with this place now and ready to post a lot. I'm sure we will meet along one of the forum paths.
hello and welcome from new york state.
Thanks for the nice welcome Brugie and Herbie!

Welcome to DG, the best gardening site on the web in my humble opinion. We seem to have something for everyone here including fun, so join right in. We were all new here once!
Thanks Mary! :-)
