Hi from Winnipeg, Manitoba

Winnipeg, MB(Zone 4a)

Hi! I know some of the members here in DG. I've been a member but not a subscriber until now. I've been gardening for about 15 years now. I'm into just about everything. Luv perennials like hostas, daylilies, irises, sedums, hens & chicks, clematis, etc. I luv to try new things and see what happens. Last winter I had planted my hanging bamboo grass in the ground. In the Spring it survived. I've gotten in the Brugmansias last year and have about 15 containers in the basement sleeping....lol. Last year I also got into buying and trading seeds. Have found so many new friends this way. I have quite a few trades planned for the Spring...yahoooo! It's fun finding unusual seeds or plants. Here is a picture of a new project that I did last year.

Hi Donna - welcome to DG. It's great to see these garden photos in the winter when nothing is growing. You'll have tons of opportunities to compare notes, trade plants or seeds or just plain get to know people.

One of the great things about developing obsessions here - you learn about so many new things that you just MUST HAVE when you didn't even know it existed 24 hours ago.

Cheers!

Thanks, Sandra. I know what you mean. Everytime I see something....I go....oooooooh....off I go looking for seeds.

Heck - if you need your addiction fed even more - I do have some seeds that I'm trying to give away - if you check the seed trading forum.

Hi Donna,
