Thanks, Gretchen, et al!!! I failed to mention that my kids and grands gave me a b-day brunch today, super great, the food was to die for, and prepared by my grand girls. Only thing is that they should have given me a fast, don't you know??!!! The last thing in the entire world I needed was more food, whew. If I only gained 5lbs today, that will mean I'll only have to take off 15 or 20 to get back goal to go. Oh, well, what else ya gonna do in January, ya know??!!

Gretchen, that brug is beautiful, really pretty. I have a bush that bloomed just about all summer, but not too many blossoms at a time and they had 6 points - I sent a pic and told about the tipsy bees that couldn't stay away from her. She is an unknown and pink, my first brug and i love her...
Sherry -- I'm glad you enjoyed the picture. That's one of my 2004 seedlings that hopefully will continue to bloom like that. Her working name is Saltwater Taffy. Did you get seeds from yours?

Oh, Gretchen I love your seedling, she looks like a well bred girl, mine looks like an unusually pretty wanna be. I did not get seeds, but I expect her to return next spring, which will be her 3rd year here. I have a rooted cutting from my unknown and HOPE that i will be able to start her early enough next year to get seeds. I would love to try her with your 6 point girl. Do you know the breeding on yours?? I have no idea re mine, but she consistently sends out 6 pointed blossoms and she is such a pretty pink, even if the is from the wrong side of the tracks, LOL!!
