Same flower, different color

I was amazed when we compared pictures of H. dimorpha flowers taken tonight, to one taken about 6 months ago...Its on this link.

The big yellow umbel was the first bloom in the summer. The next blooming (now) the umbel opened half way, more still to come, and the color is totally different. I thought this was fascinating! Just proves that color of flowers are not a good thing to base ID on.

Egad, I was just starting to get the hang of this ......
