CLOSED: New Years give away for new gardeners.

Ewing, KY(Zone 6a)

For new gardeners and subscribers only. See next post.

Ewing, KY(Zone 6a)

I don't really trade much anymore so I been cleaning out all my saved up bubble envelopes etc , and cleaning out my seed box. What better way to get rid of both. I am going to give a envelope of seeds to the first 7 new gardeners that post. This is a little of this and that, could be store bought, from trades, my garden, old ones etc. I have fixed envelopes with an assortment of at least 15 different kinds of seeds in each. These are pretty common seeds so I figured they would be perfect for new gardeners. Some that are tricky to germinate, I tried to include growing instructions. Happy New Year.

I would love to have some of your seeds.
I'm working right now on new flower beds and need
things to put in them.
I'm in the address exchange
Thank you so much.

Oh yeah, do you want postage for these?

Langley, WA(Zone 7b)

Okay, I will bite. I'm fairly new, a couple months. Don't know if that counts. I have not traded before but have been reading the posts. I'm anxious to learn how to collect my own seeds for trading, too, so I'm not just doing sase.

Do you contact me offlist now for the sase or how does this work?

Thanks,
Gwen

Ewing, KY(Zone 6a)

There is no SASE this is my treat. If you are not in the address exchange please email me your address.

Box Springs, GA

Me! Me! Me! I'm trying so hard to fill my empty new garden! Thank you, I will send postage if need be.

Spokane Valley, WA(Zone 5b)

Could a person still be considered a new gardener if they only have one garden season under their belt? I'd love to try some of your seeds, Mystic, especially since we're in nearly the same zone. I'd also like to see how an experienced trader packages up their seeds, for I've harvested and been cleaning some of my own (though only very simple, common ones) as practice for the future. :)

Donna

P.S. I fully understand if I don't qualify. You see, I became a 'native' of Phoenix after my first summer there, and a 'native' of Spokane after my first winter. *giggle*

Center, TX(Zone 8b)

I would love to have some of your seeds too. Please count me in. I'm new to DG but you guys here are great. Ya'll have helped me so much and I have learned a lot. Thanks to everyone! Have a Great New Year.

in Houston, TX(Zone 9a)

I would be interested also. Please let me know if I made the list of newbies. I subscribed actually in July or August 04. You can ask Dave that if you want. No problem here

Thanks.
