1 January 2005 - daily support, onward to a successful year

Albany (again), NY(Zone 5b)

Hi Everyone - I refuse to get on the scale yet - maybe in a week. It's bad - I know it is, but oh well.

Didn't do too badly today since I slept the entire day - flew from Albuquerque to Dublin, 19 hours, left my sister's house at 6:30 am and arrived here in Dublin at 8 am and went home and slept until 5pm feels rather strange to travel for an entire day then sleep a full day - almost like I lost two days of my life. A bit of stir fry and wine for dinner. Yikes - I do need to hide this can of cashews, though.

So, for the low down.

Vitamins - need to take every morning
Water - at least 64 oz. 2 litres daily
Food - increased protein, decreased carbs - but nothing radical
Fiber - Gradually increasing psyllium to 40 grams a day
Exercise - go to the gym TOMORROW.

Sooooooooo, these are my best of intentions - should at least work until I go to Belize at the end of this month.

I really don't want to state pounds lost because that means getting on the scale - but, I do have a target weight that is probably 12 pounds for early March.

5 minute delay

OK - honestly time. Just got on the scale and found that I was 7 pound above where I expected - but, that is the end of the day and also 22 days of traveling - have been gone since Dec. 9th), still wearing leggings and a sweater. OMG (and many other *&@$*# words) - sob, sob. Well, this was a real eye opener - now it's time to REALLY get started tomorrow. Feeling a bit depressed now, but very resolved.

How's everyone else doing?
