Who would be your top pick for a houseplant expert to join our forums? Or, who would you most like to be able to ask your toughest houseplant questions?
The criteria is:
1) Please nominate just one name, along with any contact info you can locate;
2) It should be someone who is not currently a member here;
3) This person should be a familiar name in houseplant circles (can be someone who specializes in a particular species, or a general expert grower or collector)
4) Since this person would be a regular participant in our forums, their availability/willingness to participate and their personality (no overblown egos, please!) should also be taken into consideration.
Need your recommendations for an expert
I would like to nominate Marina Welham, editor of "The Amateurs' Digest", a publication devoted to cacti, succulents, and caudiciforms. She offers lots of information and help on growing these plants at this site:
http://www.theamateursdigest.com/
She may be reached by email at: amatrdigest@coastnet.com
~Shirley
Good suggestion, and one that I wouldn't have thought of, although I've had the pleasure of corresponding with Marina on a few occasions ;o)
