------------

For a SASE. :-)
These should be a mix of white, orange and possibly pink. More than likely you will get mostly if not all creamy white. They are tall (nearly as tall as me at 5'3 ft)- have long trumpet flowers. Very pretty. Can't remember if they are fragrant, seems like they are but not very. I just collected a large baggy full of the seeds today. We call them ditch lilys LOL! They grow all over the place here. I'll find a picture and post it here ASAP. Very VERY good seed producers- can get hundreds of seeds out of each head.
These are easy to grow and are hard to kill. A good first time lily growers` flower. :)
To the first 10 posters. I'd accept more people but mum needs alot of these seeds for her trades and were planting bunches here to eventually sell. God I feel greedy, LOL!
I'll send a good amount of seeds to those who make it in. :) Or I can send fewer seeds to each individual and be able to send some to more people. That's up to y'all.

I'd love to have a good bunch of these seeds . . . they sound very cool! Do they like it boggy or in just regular garden soil?

I'll get an SASE out to you tomorrow!

Thanks much!

Onalee

Crossville, TN(Zone 7a)

They do best in an area that gets plenty of water. Those in the picture are growing on dry land though. :-) So anything goes.
No problem! :D

Fenton, MO(Zone 5b)

I would love some crimsontsavo. The statement you made 'easy for first timers' thats me! Princess Di's favorite flower was the trumpet lily.

North Augusta, SC(Zone 8a)

Alice

You have mail!

Crossville, TN(Zone 7a)

K I can send to everyone that has posted. I'll email you all now. Kaleem, mum said I can just send you some seeds because it would cost too much and be too much of a hassle for you to have to send money.

All trades gone! Thanks for the intrest!

Crossville, TN(Zone 7a)

To anyone that hasnt sent off your SASE- please include your DG name so I know who I'm marking off my list.

Crossville, TN(Zone 7a)

Hilary, I could have sworn I received your SASE. Hmm.
Are you sure the SASE you got back was the one you sent to me?
We'll get it sorted out LOL. Don't worry, I'll make sure you get some LOL.

Center, TX(Zone 8b)

Jacelyn, I sent my sase off Jan 3. Have you got it?

Crossville, TN(Zone 7a)

Brenda, I don't think so. I'm checking the mail shortly- it might be there today.
Did you send me some Lions Ear seeds Brenda? Cause people arent putting there DG user names on the SASE's :-D I got some lions ear and can't figure out who sent them! LOL
I'f I don't get it in a couple days I'll go ahead and send it out to ya. The mail around here sucks.

Center, TX(Zone 8b)

Wasn't me that sent Lions Ear...that sounds like an enteresting plant. I don't think I put my user name on the sase. I dont' think there are any other Brenda's from Texas here though. ha-ha

Kingston, GA(Zone 7b)

Jocelyn, I sent my SASBE on Jan. 3rd too and was wondering if you had received it. It should have made it to you by now. I know the mail has been kind of slow lately tho with getting behind from the holidays. Please let me know if you get it. I am pretty sure I enclosed a small note with my name and hopefully my DG nick.

Crossville, TN(Zone 7a)

K I got mail!!!!

Pocahontas, TN(Zone 7b)

Thank you, received mine today.

You are a very kind and generous person.

Judy

Center, TX(Zone 8b)

I got my lily/cattails seeds yesterday. Thanks sooooo much. Can't wait for spring.I'm planting by the allmac this year and have already started some of my seeds. Next seed planting daysare Jan 23, 24, and 25. I'll have pots of dirt all around my house. lol

Crossville, TN(Zone 7a)

Hope you guys get them going!

Thank you Judy. :-)

Brenda- omg- you can't even see the top of our fridge I have so many seeds planted! LOL!!!

I'm trying to sprout some in water- if it works it'll be a neat experiment. I got babies coming up from when I planted them a couple weeks ago. They are in my kitchen. I planted them in a Coke bottle. I have something coming up with them- don't know if they are weeds or flowers, LOL!
Kind of a surprise I guess, hehe.

I think I just got some seeds off my Mexican Hat plant too! It's really exciting, hehe.

Brookeville, MD(Zone 7a)

Do people wintersow in Fla? Does that even work there?

I've got well over 50 pots outside sitting in the snow and I'll keep adding to it. I'm going to have SOOOOO many plants come spring!

Center, TX(Zone 8b)

Jocelyn....I'm useing the same method. I've got Dr Pepper bottles EVERYWHERE. Not having much success so far. Out of six passiflora two are up but nothing from the other 4. I planted them Dec 15. I'll keep watching. Other bottles were planted Jan 5 and 6. Still watching them lilies.

Brookeville, MD(Zone 7a)

Spraying with a hydrogen peroxide/water solution may help. I think it breaks down the outside of seeds a little bit. Strong light and warmth would help too.

I don't have any heating pads so I just do the solution and light. I have some passi seeds sitting on my vanity table under a plain old flourescant light.
