I have conflicting zones for this plant. I traded it because I thought it was an outdoor plant for my zone 6. Plantfiles have it as 8 while another source as 6.
Has anyone grown this in zone 6?

Linda,

My research into these guys has them listed as being hardy down to zone 8. Even though I live in zone 8, I'm planning to plant them and then lift them next fall before winter sets in or just grow them in containers and bring them inside.

I am in zone 5 and I grow one but of course it has to be dug each fall.

I just got a couple Eucomis bicolor from Buggycrazy and the bulbs are close to 3 inches across! Never grown these guys before but am really looking forward to it.
