Great pic, you've inspired me to get the camera ready for spring.

Thanks!, Doesn't it make you want to sit and watch the leaves unfurl?

Wow. How old is this plant? All mine are babies and I can't wait til they grow up to be like this one. Planted Hosta for the first time this year....

beclu727,
We probably bought this plant in Summer of 91 it was planted out in the woods for a few years and the deer ate it every year. I finally told my husband that I was not going to pay good money on a plant to have the deer eat it. So we moved it to its present location. Then about 6-7 years ago we divided some off of it.
This is how it looked the end of August this year, a little tired, that is Ginko Craig in front of it.

I love this photo! It's what makes gardening so exciting. Just spectacular! Spring is right around the corner!

Thanks for the info. Your hostas are beautiful, doesn't look the least bit tired to me. I have a deer problem here too. I have some "unknown" hostas under a dogwood tree in the front yard that are deer food every year. They were here when we bought the house in 99. I finally moved a few closer to the house this year. So far the deer haven't found their new spot.
