Turkey on a BBQ grill?

I was wondering if any of you have tried putting a butterflied whole turkey on a BBQ grill and cooking it that way? I absolutely love cooing chicken this way, but I'm not sure if the turkey would be too big and not cook through. Any feedback? Thanks! :-)
