Many children's prayers were answered.

Fritch, TX(Zone 6b)

Amen.

My mother asked me to ask my children to quit praying for snow. We have had more than our share the last four years LOL.

A light dusting like you got, Melva, is so refreshing! I bet all the wildlife enjoyed it.

Lets hope it killed some of the bugs and diseases, then at least we will all benefit one way or another!

Beautiful pics! My daughter had written "Let it Snow" on the windows, now my neighbors say it's her fault it snowed here!
Okus, it didn't kill these darned mosquitoes here, one kept pestering me yesterday.

My husband and nephews made this cute snowman. The picture was taken at my parent's house in Victoria, Tx. The last time snow accumulated on the ground was in 1985 and the last time that Victoria had a white Christmas was in 1918. So you can only imagine that we were going crazy. I thought that they did a pretty good job for their first ever snowman.

I wish I had gotten a picture of a snowperson, that my neighbors made...they had it sitting in a lawn chair, with a beer in it's hand...it was real cute! I don't know how that got enough snow to make the thing...it was pretty muddy.

This is the snowman made by my DD, SIL, DGD (R) and a little girl (L) who's daddy was taking her on a snowman hunting trip through the neighborhood.

A snow man hunt! Now that sounds like fun and nothing gets killed at the end, (much better than a fox hunt.) Cool picture and one her grandchildren will think she faked if things return to normal!

How sweet...:)

Well I moved here from Chicago to get away from the snow and the day we moved into the house here was the day it snowed all day.

It did make for a nice get in Christmas spirit mood but we were glad to see 70s since then
