Terrie -- Gruene at this time of year is just lovely! Typical Texas Hill Country decorations. Lots of white lights... The place to really see is the River Walk. Have you ever been there during the winter holidays? Just gorgeous!!!
No, only during the summer months. When you say River Walk, are you talking San Antonio or is there a "River Walk" in Gruene? I love coming down for tubing the river in the summer. My brothers, sisters, their spouses and all of our kids are planning a trip for this next summer. The kids are all old enough now that we don't have to keep them with us so all of us adults can be "the kids" for a couple of days. :-)
Sounds like fun! The River Walk in downtown San Antonio. Its worth a visit in the winter to see all the beautiful lights! If you ever get the chance...
Gretchen, when i was in San Antiono, my aunt and cousin was supposed to take me to River Walk but my uncle got worse and I never got to see it. I heard it was beautiful.
