calamondin miniature orange, need diagnosis

Brookeville, MD(Zone 7a)

My orange tree seems to be ailing, all the leaves are curling and some fall off. I feed it once in a while and it's growing in as much sun as it can get from the windows, I don't have artificial lighting. I didn't follow directions and limit the plant to one orange, instead every limb has bunches of tiny oranges.

Any one know what the problem is? Stress from too any fruits? Should I add more peat to the potting mix to make it more acidic?

P.S. Are the fruit supossed to be so sour?

East Texas, United States(Zone 8a)

yep i believe calamondin is suppsed to be sour, better used for cooking (marinades and the like). don't grow it myself but i think it's popular because it's one of the tougher citruses. I defer to actual growers. THis is just what I learned when I was looking for citruses and bought 2 variegated meyer's ( strictly for foliage) and 1 navel orange, which I haven't even potted yet.

Have you let it get too dry? How's the humidity in your house? Any sign of mites?
The fruit is sour, but if you eat the peeling with it, it will be sweeter.

The humidity has been a problem, we just turned the humidifier on so hopefully that'll help. The water has been evaporating very fast too so it has been drying out. I'll have to pay more attention to it and water more often.
