Well, I did have one all along and didn't realize it, I kept it in my bathroom for 10 years, never bloomed, silly me, I put it outside late last summer, and well, forgot to bring it in for the winter frost, sigh.... I killed it, and that was very very sad!!!!!
I must find another,
Annie

I saw a vendor on ebay selling Adenium plants and I am finding it very hard to resist bidding. Help! LOL

I am flabbergasted at this plant and have never heard of it before. Does it have to mature for years before it blooms? Is there a more common name? What is its best zone?

Valrico, FL(Zone 9b)

Desert Rose is the general common name, and Tropic Sun is the varietal name, though it's more than likely known by several other varietal names when it comes out of Asia. They're generally hardy to Zone 9 and up, but can be successfully over wintered in a dormant state during the winter in cooler climates. It will flower the first season, but one similar in size to the one shown is most likely 8-10 years old.
