I rooted too many..have 2 Extra to trade...
Snapdragon 'Torbay Rock"
It has received many frost days and has not been affected whatsoever. It may be hardy to zone 6 with protection. If it's cold in your area now, keep it potted indoors until Spring.
Thanks!
Kim
Need to Trade Now....For later shipping #2
Oh, Kim! He's adorable - I can't believe all the unique babies you have! Was this picture just taken? We were -2 yesterday, and still have 2 inches of snow on the ground! The poor cable man came out to repair my modem connection and dng near flew off the pole! I assured him I could live with intermittent computer/cable/phone lines for a couple of days. He gratefully left with a promise to come back tomorrow. Must be good Karma 'cause everything has worked fine since he left!
Still have one little baby looking for a new home :-D
Kim it's beautiful! Do they root easily from cuttings?
I have this one that, even with hard frost, kept on going and going and going ;) It's not quite as red as the pic makes it look. I think it was called Black Knight or something like that... It was a great bloomer all summer long. I put it in the greenhouse and it seems happy. I'd love to try doing some cuttings of it, never thought about it, I did gather some seed from it.
Hi Jody, If it's called Black Knight then I HAVE to have it! I neeeed that snapdragon! LOL. I'll take one little cutting. It's been on my want list. They root very easily from cuttings. Just clip a piece...stick it in root powder and pop it in a pot. Keep it moist and spritz ocasionally. Works great...now...let's talk TRADE...he he he
If you HAVE to have it, LOLOL, it's yours! I'll get some snips off it and try to root them this week. Although I can't guarentee the name, I'm going from memory and it sure isn't what it used to be ;) Maybe I've still got the tag kicking around the greenhouse, I'll check.
Kim,
I would be honored, to provide a home for your baby!
