Our Holly is in surgery right now for spaying....and a sad suprise-she's pregnant. The vet was unable to feel the pups when she was first examined, and today, upon examation, she discovered the pregnancy. The pups were not viable...no heartbeats. This is so very sad. We are proceeding according to plans, but little Holly may be emotionally down for awhile due to hormone fluctuations. I cannot wait to see her. Her transport is all set up with the exception of one leg between Kingsport, Tn. and Whittsville, Va. We're still looking for a driver for that segment anytime after Mon 12/27 and 12/31. If anyone is in that area that can help...please, please contact us by e-mail. We are ready here in Northport for her; two warm crates with soft beds, and lots of love and attention. I'm calling the vet's in Ga. a little later to get the scoop on how her surgery went and will let all of you know...She should be fine, but please keep her in your thoughts. Les (Frankay's DW)
