Is this plant being grown indoors? What zone are you in? It is simply beautiful! Will it grow in Zone 5, during the summer?

Wow, that gorgeous! Please do answer conniecola's questions. I would like to know to and where you can find it to buy.

The plant in the picture was growing inside. It is in the succulent family. It roots easily. Just lay a leaf on it's side in sand and it will put out roots and begin to grow. It roots readily in late spring and summer. It takes longer in fall and winter. I put all my house plants outside for the summer and bring them in late October/early November. Mine is just beginning to bloom now. The foliage has that glaucous coating on each leaf that makes it look more bluish/gray than green but it rubs off if you touch it or the plant gets to much rain in the summer. I buy my plants all over. This one came from a greenhouse called Chadds Ford Greenhouses, 51 Baltimore Pike, Chadds Ford, PA. 19317

How much sun does it have to have?

In the summer I keep it outside and give it some light shade at noon time. In the winter I keep it in my window that gets the most sun. In zone 5 that could mean sun only once a week. I hold watering it until it has been dry for a good week or two and then water it with only warm water and I do not wet it completely, just enough to get it moist.
