Siamese help needed again...

Lewiston, ID(Zone 5b)

I really enjoyed your comments and help before I got my Siamese. I got them in August. Tasanee was born in April and Kama in June. Both are females and I’ve since gotten them spayed. They were, of course, quite frightened at first, especially Kama. Tasanee was her security. They were from the same breeder. Kama never looked like a cute little kitten, only a frightened little kitten. In October my son came back home and is going to finish his degree here. He’s spent a lot of time with Kama, trying to calm her. Tasanee is cautious, but when I sit down she’s on my lap. And she accepts my oldest son.

Two days before Thanksgiving my other son decided to move back to the area, so he moved in with me and found a job. He was here three weeks before his wife, who was finishing up her job, came with their three young daughters ages 5, 3 and 1. They will live with me until their house sells and they buy one here. Tasanee and Kama didn’t seem to get used to my second son. They would hide all day when he was around. Tasanee finally got so she would be OK if he was in another room. Needless to say, I only see them in the early AM before anyone else is up.

So I’m back asking for advice again. I’m concerned for the Siamese. The girls don’t bother them. Basically because the Siamese find good hiding places. They’ve never been sociable cats. But I don’t want them to be so frightened. I want them relaxed and comfortable. Son #2 and his family could be here for several months. They sleep in the basement, so the cats have the freedom of the upstairs at night. I want to thank you for your help. Getting these two was the best thing I ever did. I thoroughly enjoy them and want them to enjoy being here.
